And.. it is a big announcement.

Dear sluggish blog,

Apologize for the span of time for this blog. Since March, there was no any update on this blog... it has been so lighter than usual...  

Many things are happening at once.we managed to have our honeymoon about less than 3  months ago..  

Andddd currently i am 13 weeks pregnant.. Alhamdulillah....syukur sangat. 

walaupun, it is all new for me but i really happy being pregnant.. of course, better-half is the one who is really over-happy with this good news..

Alhamdulillah...masa 1st trimester, i was not battling dengan morning sickness yang teruk,just minor ailments.. there was only super sleepiness,asyik nak baring then asyik nak tidur jer... super duper malas..even nk pegang penyapu pun malas.. so bad. :) syukur, better-half sangat-sangat memahami..better-half does really help me much around the house.. 

currently, I am not being able to sleep on my belly, sometimes pains in my back ribs.. bila entering to 2nd trimester of pregnancy ni, i noticed yang suka sangat makan pedas..kalau order nasi goreng kampung, msti nak pedas, padahal before this, i always refused to eat all spicy-spicy foods..heheheh.. but not now, asyik nak pedas je...mee goreng, mesti extra pedas.. makan apa-apa, msti nak cili potong..so weird.. huhuhu...pernah one time tu, sebab pedas sangat, terpaksa tukar dengan better-half's meal.. heheh.sian hubby...

Bulan lepas, better-half and I managed to have our first check-up & scan at Hosp Pantai Bangsar with my obstetrician, Dr Idris.. bila saat obstetrician tunjukan my  living-breathing fetus on the screen...i felt a strangest feeling and feel amazed... Better-half looked at the screen & looked at me smilingly with amazement. Better-half almost breaks into tears! :)  Masya Allah, I can tell you it was so overwhelming, to finally comprehend that you have a living being inside you! ALLAH s.w.t is just great!  
InsyaAllah, moga kandungan ni selamat hingga tiba saat kelahirannya nanti...

Roti Canai Durian

Anyone pernah makan Roti Canai Durian? i heard it before as better half ate it once..these few weeks i feel like nak makan roti canai durian sangat-sangat...craving..
Rasa macam nak bawak je isi durian dan singgah kat mana-mana kedai mamak and ask them to prepare it for me.. boleh ke macam tu? heeee.

Conceive?

As at today, we have been married for 2months & 11 days.

Rata-rata bila jumpa kawan-kawan, sedara-mara, soalan yang terpacul "dah ada ke?", "dah berisi ke?", "dah mengandung ke?" dan bermacam-macam soalan which bring the same meaning, "are u getting pregnant?"... ohh. please laaa... 

sabar je lah... I want to enjoy my marriage life. 

Many people says stop thinking desperately on how to get pregnant, because it will happen dengan sendiri nya...

On 25th February 2010 at 11.40am, beloved grandma has passed away.

We are deeply saddened by her death.

May Allah s.w.t give her eternal rest and may her soul rest in peace...

Like a bird singing in the rain, let grateful memories survive in time of sorrow..

Craving.

I love leather jackets! They are so cool! i'm thinking to get one for myself.

Have to look for one on my budget because this is a wardrobe staple... ohhh.. i'm digging it.. =)

Finally, i said yes....I could say that, this is truely the best movie ever made...

Hurm…February.

The shopping splurge is over. Honestly, I did not spend too much for this time. Alhamdulillah.. I managed to restrain my needs. Everywhere I went, I asked myself: “do I need this?” na-ahhhh… Tak apa, I patiently waiting for the next spree. Heee.

I decided to dare myself to keep a spending log.. to be more in control of what comes out of the purse….  Bagus tak? Bagus kan…

All the wedding presents I got were opened and mostly forgotten some of them. Teee heee.. Thank you so much for all the lovely and useful wedding gifts, buddies.

And to Kaka Ann, big thanks for that valuable thing, which I’ve been wish for before.

Cinema-theraphy

As many of you knows, saya bukanlah peminat filem Melayu dan filem Melayu bukanlah filem wajib tonton but, since some friends gave lots and lots of good reviews and made me tempted to watch it, so we watched Adnan Sempit at Cinneplex Damansara few weeks ago. enough said, it has lots of laughs, quite simple 'mat rempit' movie but has moral values in it...

Akad Nikah Day

We had an amazing time!

My hubby and I have just come back from our pre-honeymoon in Melaka. It was an amazing pre-honeymoon i could say.... and tonight, better-half reminded me to update my 'hiatus' blog..... errr... precisely, i do not have enough time for myself... anddd.. still in 'newlywed' mood made me stay away from update any new post... masih bermalas-malasan lagi..... ;)

So we finally said I do after being together for more than 2 years!
It was beautiful and so much fun.
Nothing much to say..married life is great...better-half and I have been enjoying just being with each other this past week.
hurm... I can't wait until we get a real honeymoon next year.. :)

I actually think for a bachelorette party.. but my schedule is super duper hectic...
The main point of the bachelorette party is to have fun with our best girls.
Traditionally the bachelor and bachelorette parties were held the night before/or at least the week before the actual wedding day....

It has been a while since my last update …

Dear diary,

I know it has been a while since I last updated my diary ….
Hurmmmm… do I have a good apology? Errr.. Let’s just say that these last few weeks have been the hectic that I can remember … it was full with activities and it was so tiring…...

We managed to celebrate Aidiladha with my beloved families, Alhamdulillah; I was given a chance to have a good time with my dearly loved mother & siblings…. Everything was run well, as it should be…

My Wedding!
This is probably the most important thing – my wedding in 3rd week of December! I can’t tell you how exciting the whole wedding journey has been …. It sure does take a lot of time planning, traveling, pondering etc but it’s all good and yeah a lifetime remains … I can’t wait for that big day! The wedding preparation is still going on… at length; I managed to grab my wedding hijab for reception ceremony but not yet for “bertandang”… Alhamdulillah..
What’s more?I already steal a pair of off-white shoe from Charles & Keith last few weeks as for my wedding shoe.. teruja & tak sabar nak memakainya….. =) heeeee…. Oh! waitttt… I need to find one more shoes, precisely in gold color for majlis bertandang…. Huhuhu..

Washing machine & fridge have been delivered today… semangat nak menghias rumah! ;)

Herbalife = my daily meal

Yeah… with “suppose to” feeling, terpaksa telan herbalife and pretend its sedap & lazat, every time better-half look and ask me “Sedap, tak?” and he always continue saying that “lagi 2 minggu je, sabar ya…” Diary, as you know, I need to scrap all flabby-flabby things and this plump face before my big day… InsyaAllah…. Good Luck, Ellena (whispering to myself).

Now, I’m controlling myself from certain foods and minum ice … actually, since few months ago… my mum & sisters WARNED me to always have ‘air suam’ instead of cold drink.. =) untuk kesihatan dalaman katanya…. Yes, I must learn to stay away, no matter how much I want it…. Less make-up.. Less jalan malam-malam.. Less oily foods.. And many things lagi… tu semua petua & pantang-larang orang lama-lama… ;) fortunately, I have faith on that, therefore it’s not a difficulty for me… . =)

Wow, how fast time flies… Now it is time for Christmas decorations to go up and the shopping season has officially begun… ohhh… I love this spree! Bessst bangetttt…. Still, I noticed awal-awal lagi better-half forewarn me to not over shopping as I have purchased 6 pieces of outfits from ZARA last week … Okay, Okay, I nodded noiselessly.

Still….last night, managed to grab (though I have to keep myself away from shopping melampau) a piece of blue color, Miss Sixty apparel with puffy sleeve… Sukak ;) and thanks to better half for that designer shades! Errr.. tak sabar nak pakai.. ....

Diary,My life is making a change for the better …. Exactly how i want it to be :) Alhamdulillah…. Syukur…I now need to make sure that the things in my life are aligned to make it as easy as possible to accomplish.

Here are some of Abaya styles, beautiful, right?.... i have just discovered a few collection of Abayas.. they are so sweet...and elegant..
Since 2-3 months ago, I'm thinking to have one elegant, black Abaya with matching hijab... hopefully, it will be nice with me... ;)

Dear diary,

At last, better-half and I managed to load our apartment with our first stuff, shoe rack last week. To be precise, DIY shoe rack =) contented tau… bersusah payah tau nk siapkan this little thing… hurm.. At last, better-half able to finish it off.

By tonight, our bedroom set will be delivered follow with new washing machine and fridge by next week. Sukak! =)

"Hunting Day" for home appliances & home decoration akan bermula next week =) hohoho. excited. definetely, Ikea is bothering my mind... =)

Alhamdulillah…… Moga ALLAH s.w.t permudahkan segalanya.. All the sweet and bitter things happened during swapping to new house will remain in my mind evermore..

Hello Weekend.

Hola diary. Fuhhh… it has been an empty week, empty with moi latest updates..

Last Sunday, four of us (Kord, Ewan, Better-half & I) managed to be present at my lovely friend, Yani’s engagement ceremony which was held at temerloh..

At last, I managed to eat ‘Ikan Patin Masak Tempoyak’.. =) it’s tasty! Hurm… tapi…ikan patin is not my much loved fish… tataw kenapa… maybe because the taste of the ikan is a bit strange kott.. hee hee. Whatever.. ;)

On the way back to KL, we paid a quick visit at Bukit Tinggi. The panorama is super-duper nice and the countryside really-really catch my eyes… anddd… my heart noiselessly murmured.. “I should come here another time”. Let’s the pictures do the talking…..

Ohhh.. My bigggg day is coming… it’s less than a month… precisely, 26 days left… I have uneasy feeling… i’m worried and fretful... I am pretty sure; its untruth if we say all brides-to-be can be cool waiting for their wedding day… in fact, I got bad chest pain these few days and my left hand is shivering. I have sought for Dr Bavani and her first question after do all the health check was “Are you worrying bout something, dear?” and I said smilingly “Yes, I do… but not really be troubled with it. I didn’t lose sleep.”…. At last, she gave me some medicine for muscle pain and medicine to calm down my mind and advised me to put feet up.. Do I have anxiety disorder?... tataw la… yes, almost all the time, my big day is bothering my mind… I always pray, the ceremony will run smoothly as it should be… InsyaAllah…

all the invitation cards will be mailed out by next week... ;)

I managed to grab a tudung for my akad nikah.. in off-white color. Susah juga nak cari, luckily I found one.. still I have to find 2 more tudung for reception day and majlis bertandang.. susah betol nak cari tudung yang suitable and satisfy with my needs. Uuhuhuh…
